PFW Fall 2018: Day 3

It slightly warmed up on day 3 and by warm I mean mid 40's. My day didn't really start with appointments until the afternoon so it was nice to have the morning to relax a bit. Alex Brown from Mane Addicts came over to do my hair and I've been loving hair accessories lately, so she suggested a super slick high pony with a few exposed pearl bobby pins on the side. I loved how nice it stayed all day- even when it rained a bit!

For dinner we went to Maison de la Poutine. I had the veggie option, it was so good, my first time trying poutine too isn't that crazy? After we went to Les Petits Carreaux for the most amazing tiramisu.

Check out everything I did on day 3 below:

Swarovski Presentation:

I started my day at the Swarovski presentation. Every season Swarovski creates a new story/collection and this season the theme was Enchanted Tales. It was inspired by a world that is an escape from reality.

I loved how rich the color palette was, sapphires, gold and emerald hues. I always layer my jewelry, so I was excited to see many of the long pendants layered and charms. The collection had a great mix of delicate designs mixed with bold pieces.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Lifelong Hoop Pierced Earrings

2. Bangle Bracelet

3. Cage Ring

Alessandra Rich Presentation

My first presentation of the day was Alessandra Rich. I've been a huge fan of Alessandra's designs and love ultra-glam, chic 80's inspired pieces. Her pieces are also very feminine mixed with cool girl edge.

The show was held at this beautiful Parisian duplex. The collection was inspired by Mirage, the idea of a woman who is in the scene but a little bit unknown. I loved all the oversized jackets and structured blazers throughout the collection. The collection also included mohair cropped sweaters and satin dresses with peaked shoulders with the most beautiful bold earrings.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Button Front Mini Skirt

2. Pearl Circle Earrings

3. Double Breasted Blazer

What I Wore:

Inspired by Alessandra Rich's strong and feminine vibe I wore this Alessandra Rich polka dot dress paired with a blazer and belt. I loved the turtleneck detailing of the dress.

Blazer: ASOS

Shoes: ZARA (sold out, similar here)

Check out some similar pieces below to recreate my look!

Pierre Hardy Presentation:

My final presentation of the day was Pierre Hardy. The collection was inspired by various American films including “Bus Stop” and “Even Cowgirls Get the Blues.”

Cowboy boots were the big standout shoe that Pierre designed for Fall 2018. The collection contained mostly western inspired pieces that had a very feminine vibe to them. I was obsessed with these red kitten heel cowboy boots, they were amazing! Many of the pieces had brocade fabrics and stripes.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Alpha Clutch

2. Riva Bella Sandal

3. Hardy Loafer
