Mock Turtleneck Tank Weather

Happy Monday! This weekend was unreal hot, but it’s mid October and it’s fall… let’s just say I’m finding ways to disregard the heat (aka burning my pumpkin candles 24/7, pumpkin pie ala mode, fall decor, halloween movies, etc).

One major negative of living in Southern California is no real changing seasons and let’s just say I’m pretty used to it by now. I’m one of those people who just wear pants (and black jeans) year round. My friend Vanessa was laughing at me the other day at school pickup, like ummm why are you wearing long sleeves in this heat? I really have no explanation other than fall is my favorite season of style and I’m not going to let a little 90 degree weather ruin my vibe (that’s why you can usually find me somewhere indoors with AC).

Mock turtleneck tanks are a great way to incorporate the feelings of fall while still not committing to a full-blown turtleneck. I also just prefer the look of a mock turtleneck to a traditional rolled down one… but maybe it’s because I’m sweating over heeeeere.
