My Stay at The James Hotels in New York

Anthony and I went to New York City for a little over a week for meetings and a few events. I love going to New York in the beginning of summer, before it gets too hot. The weather wasn’t too bad this trip but we did have one pool day because it got really hot during the weekend 🙂 I always get very inspired whenever I travel to NYC and the hustle keeps Anthony and I very productive and busy.

This particular trip, I split my stay between The James New York- SoHo and The James New York- NoMad. The NoMad location just opened up to the public but I stayed there while it was in its preview stage. Both hotels are in such great locations, which made getting to meetings, events and shooting content super easy! If you are interested in staying at ANY of the James Hotels, you can use code THRIFT for 15% off at any of the properties. Click HERE to book!

We spent the first half of our trip at The James New York- SoHo. It has an amazing rooftop with gorgeous views of the city. The suite we stayed in had floor to ceiling windows and a separate living room, we loved waking up to the view of the city. Because the hotel is located in SoHo, on the corner of Thompson and Grand, we were also walking distance to some great shopping 🙂

On our second day, it started to rain in the morning- it was so cozy and relaxing to sit and watch the storm from our bed. Because it hardly rains in LA, I love when it does and having a cozy morning with breakfast in bed!

The second half of our stay we spent at The James New York- NoMad. It’s right at the corner of 29th street and Madison Avenue, the hotel was originally the Carlton Hotel. The building is a gorgeous NYC landmark and the inside is stunning, with a cool #JamesPublicArt artwork wall.
