Paris Fashion Week Day 1 & 2

I arrived to Paris yesterday afternoon! I loved stepping off the plane to cool weather and as we drove into the city it was nice to see all the leaves falling and changing colors on the trees. This Paris Fashion Week we decided to stay in an Airbnb located near Champs Elysées. It’s in such a great location, pretty central to everything.

Paris is one of my favorite cities, it’s very inspiring to be surrounded by so much beautiful history. The fashion shows and presentations are always done so well here, it's always fun to go to new venues and see how the designers make the location come to life. I will be posting daily recaps including the shows/presentations I attend, outfits I wear and even some cute cafes or hangout spots in-between. Be sure to follow along on my Instagram and YouTube as well (:

Check out everything I did on day 1 and 2 below:

Jennifer Fisher Presentation:

To kick off PFW, the first presentation I attended was one of my favorite jewelry designers- Jennifer Fisher. The presentation was held at the Hôtel Ritz Paris (it is seriously one of the most beautiful hotels)! The jewelry was displayed on the balcony of a gorgeous suite in clear acrylic boxes that lit up.

The jewelry collection was inspired by nature. I loved the “palm leaf” inspired earrings and the different variations of hoops. Each piece came in either gold or silver and looked great mixed and matched. Not to mention, the balcony had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower!

Although the collection isn't available until next season, here are my current favorites that are available now:

Small Multi Hoop Earrings

Knot Choker

Karla Hoop Earrings

What I Wore:

Cinq à Sept's latest pieces have been so amazingly cool. I wore this really beautiful 70s inspired sheer ruffled dress with a light pink slip underneath. The dress felt very effortless but still elegant. To give it more of a dressed down feel, I paired it with a pair of tan leather boots.

Lacoste Runway Show:

My first official show of PFW was Lacoste. To celebrate their 85th anniversary, Lacoste decided after 14 years of showing in New York that it was time to show in Paris. Lacoste is such a classic brand, known for their timeless sporty yet playful clothing made for all lifestyles.

The Spring/Summer collection shown was inspired by two antagonistic films, with the “idea of undeniable social jumble and unlikely cohabitation”. Meaning, the collection brings back the pastels of the 80’s and a new take on the double-breasted blazer. I loved all the high- waisted trousers, cable-knit cashmere tracksuit and oversized tracksuits. I seriously feel like neon is going to make a huge comeback!

Although the collection isn't available until next season, here are my current favorites that are available now:

Leather Sneakers

Piqu Leather Backpack

Flared Skirt

What I Wore:

I wore a full Lacoste outfit to the show. I have been loving the athleisure trend lately and paired track pants with a hooded coat (it was pretty chilly out). To complete the look, I added a white pair of sneakers to keep it sporty but still chic.

Maison Kitsun Presentation:

I’ve been a fan of the french brand Maison Kitsuné for a while and I was really looking forward to to attending their presentation again this season. You may know the brand from their well-known t-shirts with the saying “Parisien” or “Parisienne.”

The collection shown this season was called “Last Exit To Romance” and was inspired by the easy carefree lifestyle in Miami and LA. Soft cotton fabrics, surfboards and heart motifs were used throughout the collection. I loved the wide leg trousers with lateral pockets, the use of gold-on-white brocade and of course their adorable fox logo on some of the t- shirts.

My current favorites include:

Parisienne Sweatshirt (I just got this while we were here too!)

Wool Pullover

Parisienne T-shirt (and this one :)

Lunch Break:

We stopped at this really cute café called Le Montaigne and it's close to our Airbnb, so we decided to stop for a quick bite in between shows/presentations. They have the best croissants and truffle pizza (yes, I had to treat myself to both lol!) plus they are open super late!

Maje Presentation:

Next up, I attended the Maje presentation. The brand is known for their feminine yet effortless cool vibe. The collection shown consisted of fun colors, including my favorite yellow! Also, a lot of tie-front pants, skirts and dresses. I'm a huge fan of this trend because not only does it make your waist look smaller but it also adds a nice detail to any outfit. I loved the crisp white fabrics used throughout and the various striped pieces.

Although the collection isn't available until next season, here are my current favorites that are available now:

Plaid Blazer (a fall must!)

Mini Skirt

Ruffle Trim Blouse

Rochas Runway Show:

My last runway show of the night was Rochas. The show was filled with gorgeous embellishments, bright colors, and full skirts. Many of the models carried handbags with the classic “R” in bright colors. I love how the brand includes their classic “R” on so many of the pieces, including accessories. The collection also contained many embellished floral prints being worn all together while yellow and black played a huge color role in the collection.

Although the collection isn't available until next season, here are my current favorites that are available now:

Velvet Brocade Pump

Ribbed Knit Cashmere Sweater (love the “R” detailing)

Embellished Wool Sweater (Still obsessed with this from their last collection)

What I Wore

The Rochas team dressed me for their show, so I opted to wear a pop of color and fun patterned top. I normally don't wear a ton of pink but I loved the softness of the pants mixed with the floral top. To break up the pink, I added pops of white with my handbag and shoes.

Shoes: DIOR (similar HERE)

Hermès Presentation:

I ended the day at the Hermès presentation. All the shoes and handbags were designed by shoe designer, Pierre Hardy.

My favorite handbags displayed at the presentation were equestrian themed. They had adorable little shoulder bags in the shape of  a horse’s head. I was also in shoe heaven :) Hermès had so many cool styles for spring/summer, including platforms. One in particular was made from small layers of leather. The leather layers made the platform heel look like stacked wood but much more comfortable with this design! The presentation also had these adorable leather woven slip-ons. The leather woven pieces created cut-outs in the shoe and looked very chic!

Although the collection isn't available until next season, here are my current favorites that are available now:

Proof Ankle Boot

Kennedy Moccasin

Power Low Boot
